In our continuing effort to bring the best building experience to all of our customers, we are pleased to announce that Quick-Build Kits are available again for ALL of our aircraft!

The Quick-Build Kits include everything that is in our Complete Airframe Kits but the following items are factory assembled:

• Ribs and False Ribs
• Wing Spars
• Wing Tip Bows
• Fuselage Sides
• Bulkheads
• Rudder and Fin
• Elevator and Stabilizer

We also offer Quick-Build options with our Partial Kits.   The Quick-Build Wing includes the ribs, false ribs, wing spar and wing tip bows, elevator and stabilizer factory assembled.   The Quick-Build Fuselage Kit includes the fuselage sides, bulkheads, elevator and stabilizer factory assembled.

Ultra-Prop propellers are exceptionally smooth and efficient for low horsepower engines.  The blades are precision molded composite that allow you to adjust the pitch on the ground with easily installed pitch blocks.  The blades are very durable and are well suited for grass runways and float operation.

Many apologies if you called or sent an email to us over the past week and didn't get the prompt reply we normally provide.   We experienced two back-to-back issues that prevented us from responding.   First our phone system when crazy where it would ring sometimes and not others and never showed us we had any voicemails.   After we got that fixed, in the early morning of June 24th our offices were broken into and all of our computer systems were stolen.   Fortunately we had backup for everything but email history.   If you sent us an email over the past week and didn't get a reply, please resend it.

As of Monday June the 28th we are back online and fully operational.

Oshkosh 2010 has come and gone and we have made the long trek back home.  It was great to meet many of our customers as well as welcome many new and potential customers to the Fisher Flying Products family.

While attendence was down by 7% due to the weather, the people who did show up still had a great time.  One of the highlights of the show was the evening airshow on Saturday.   Seeing planes fly aerobatic routines with lights and fireworks was fantastic.

Special thanks to Art Kitching who flew the Dakota Hawk to the show for us and also to Dave Shirey who flew his beautiful Celebrity biplane (picture to the left) with a Rotec 110hp radial to the show.    Both were instrumental in making the show a success for us.

Over the next two days you will see some updates to the website.   Pricing pages need to be updated showing the Quick Build prices, order forms changed as well as  a number of new features.

When Jim Hardy (an FFP Youngster owner) was unable to get to Oshkosh with his aircraft due to his lack of an electrical system, he didn't just give up.  Instead he created the GenniPod, a wind powered generator that produces 13.5 volts and 4 amps of power.  The GenniPod let him keep his plane flying the whole way, while charging his battery and operating some key instruments.    We are proud to be able to offer the GenniPod as an option to our builders who need either a primary generator or a backup charging system.   The GenniPod is an excellent deal at $249 (plus shipping) and can be ordered directly from us.
